Overview
AutoChat provides AI-powered voice receptionist demonstrations and communication services. This page explains how individuals may voluntarily consent to receive SMS messages from AutoChat related to a demonstration or existing service inquiry.
This SMS program belongs to AutoChat itself. It is not a registration for SMS programs operated by third-party businesses that use the AutoChat platform. This page is a disclosure only — AutoChat does not offer SMS enrollment through this website.
1. What messages may be sent?
AutoChat's demonstration SMS program is intended to provide:
- Summaries of demonstration calls and existing inquiries.
- Demonstration appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Limited follow-ups related to a requested demonstration or existing inquiry.
Messages are from AutoChat, not from an unrelated third-party business. The program does not include purchased contact lists, unsolicited cold SMS outreach, or unrelated promotional campaigns.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
2. How verbal consent works
- An individual voluntarily calls AutoChat regarding a demonstration or service inquiry.
- The AutoChat AI receptionist explains the SMS program and its disclosures during the call.
- The AI expressly asks whether the caller agrees to receive recurring service-related SMS from AutoChat.
- Only an affirmative verbal agreement authorizes SMS enrollment.
- Providing a phone number, calling AutoChat, silence, or continuing the conversation does not constitute consent.
- After consent, the AI confirms enrollment. SMS messages may then be sent regarding the inquiry.
- The recipient may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using AutoChat services.
3. Verbal opt-in script
Proposed AI receptionist script
"Would you like to receive recurring text messages from AutoChat about this demonstration, including a summary of our conversation, appointment updates, and related follow-ups?
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
Our Privacy Policy is available at https://useautochat.com/privacy and our Terms and Conditions are available at https://useautochat.com/terms.
Receiving text messages is optional and is not required to purchase or use our services.
Do you agree to receive these text messages from AutoChat?"
Proposed confirmation after affirmative consent
"Thank you. You're opted in to receive demonstration-related text messages from AutoChat. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time."
If the caller declines, does not answer, or otherwise fails to give affirmative consent, no SMS messages are authorized and none will be sent.

7. Implementation evidence
This page documents AutoChat's intended verbal consent process. The verbal script and SMS workflow described above must be implemented and tested in production before this page is presented as evidence of a live messaging program.
