Introduction
AutoChat ("AutoChat," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI voice receptionist and related communication tools to businesses ("Business Customers") who use our service to answer inbound calls, qualify leads, and follow up with their own customers and prospects ("End Users"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information sharing
When you call or message a business that uses AutoChat, the information you provide during that interaction — including your name, phone number, message, and generated call summary — may be shared with the participating Business Customer you contacted so they can respond to your request.
We may also share information with trusted service providers (such as telephony, hosting, and notification providers) that help us operate the service, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of AutoChat, our users, or the public.
AutoChat does not sell customer phone numbers or personal information for marketing purposes. Consent to receive SMS messages is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention may vary based on the service configuration and the Business Customer's instructions. You may request deletion as described below, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain uses, to opt out of marketing communications, and to request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at matt@useautochat.com. You may opt out of service SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message.
